Circulation Of Gratitude

From Friday, July 3, 2026, through Sunday, August 2, 2026, we will be hosting a solo exhibition by artist Yuta Okuda

titled “Circulation of Gratitude.”

I feel that the word “thank you” and the sentiment of gratitude toward someone or something connect people to one another, people to objects, and people to events. These connections continue to expand, circulating and flowing in a never-ending cycle.

This marks my second exhibition at Gallery Crane. During my first exhibition there, I was blessed with many wonderful connections. Even now, two years later, those connections continue and are expanding into new ones.

The bouquet pieces in my “With Gratitude” series also serve to connect people, fostering new encounters and conversations. And every day, I truly feel how those encounters and sentiments continue to circulate—truly “Circulating”—on to someone else.

I want to be the kind of person who fosters such a cycle. And I want to create a space where that cycle can naturally expand. With that sentiment in mind, I have named the theme of this exhibition “Circulation of Gratitude.”

I hope that visiting the exhibition will lift your spirits, even just a little, and that you’ll leave with a positive outlook. I also sincerely hope that this feeling will connect with someone else next.

“Circulation Of Gratitude “(感謝の循環)を開催いたします。

“ありがとう”という言葉や、誰かや何かに感謝する気持ちは、人と人、人と物、人と出来事をつなぎ、そのつながりはさらに広がりながら、巡り巡って循環していくものだと私は感じています。

今回、Gallery Craneで展示を行うのは2回目となります。初回の展示では、多くの素晴らしいご縁に恵まれました。そこから2年が経った今でも、そのご縁は続き、新たなつながりへと広がっています。

私が制作している「With Gratitude」シリーズのブーケ作品もまた、人と人を結び、新しい出会いや会話を生み出してくれる存在です。そして、その出会いや想いがさらに誰かへと巡っていく――まさに“Circulation”していることを、日々実感しています。

私は、そんな循環が生まれる人でありたい。そして、そうした循環が自然と広がっていく場所をつくっていきたいと思っています。その想いを込めて、今回の展示テーマを「Circulation of Gratitude」と名付けました。

会場では、作品を通して少しでも心が晴れやかになり、前向きな気持ちを持って帰っていただけたら嬉しく思います。そして、その気持ちがまた次の誰かへとつながっていくことを、心から願っています。

“Circulation Of Gratitude”（感恩的循环）。

我深切感受到，“谢谢”这个词，以及对某人或某事心怀感激的情感，能够将人与人、人与物、人与事件紧密相连；而这种联系会不断延伸、周而复始地循环往复。

这是我第二次在Gallery Crane举办展览。首次展览中，我有幸结下了许多美好的缘分。时隔两年，这些缘分依然延续，并正不断拓展为新的联系。

我创作的“With Gratitude”系列花束作品，同样是连接人与人、催生新邂逅与对话的存在。而这些邂逅与心意又会继续传递给其他人——我每天都真切地感受到，这正是“Circulation”的体现。

我希望自己能成为孕育这种循环的人。同时，我也希望能打造一个让这种循环自然扩散的空间。怀着这份心意，我将本次展览的主题命名为“Circulation of Gratitude”。

若能在展会上，通过作品让您的心情哪怕有一丝舒畅，带着积极向上的心情回家，我将倍感欣喜。同时，我由衷地希望这份心情能再次传递给下一个他人。
